The device doesn't come with any SDK or development information, forcing users to use the provided BM500 app for Android/iOS in order to communicate with the device.
Aside from privacy concerns regarding the tracking software embedded in the BM500 application, it would improve user workflow to be able to read battery details without leave a data capture app.
